Junior
Ages 17 to 19
 This is the last of the Junior categories and members in this category train with Group 4.
There are very few races put on specially for this age group, although Bristish Triathlon put on a Super Series of drafting races which are aimed providing a bridge to Elite triathlon.Â
Otherwise members in this age group can compete alongside senior members in both Sprint and Olympic Distance Races, although we don't recomend the latter for this age group as the distances are too far.
The standard distances are:
Sprint Triathlon Distances
- Swim 750m (although often this reduce to 400m)
- Bike 20km
- Run 5km
Olympic Triathlon Distances
- Swim 1500m
- Bike 40km
- Run 10km
