Ashdon School 10K Run/3K family Fun Run

On behalf of the Ashdon School PTA, I’d like to invite Walden Tri members to participate in the Ashdon 10K Run/3K Fun Run.

This well-established event, now in its 16th year, is the major fund raiser for Ashdon Primary School PTA. Ashdon has a small school at the heart of the local village community, serving not just children from Ashdon but also those from surrounding villages.

The run attracts runners of different levels from across the local counties. The 10K circuit enjoys a reputation for being a challenging race that’s primarily off-road through the beautiful, undulating countryside surrounding our village. The 3K Fun Run is one for the whole family and can be run, strolled or toddled, whatever takes your fancy! Both runs start and finish at Ashdon School.

There’s a warm atmosphere and welcome to anyone participating or there to cheer on the runners so we do hope your members can attend. There will also be full refreshments this year with burgers and hot dogs, as well as the usual tea and cake stall.  There’s a medal for everybody finishing and trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places (click the link for more details on the prizes and facilities).
